Patricia Amen

The use of oil paints is my preference, and generally I paint with a somewhat impressionist style, with a leaning toward realism. I enjoy color, glazes, layering and occasionally the use of palette knife. I have studied art and oil painting in California, Montana, Oregon, Colorado and Wyoming. I attended the University of Wyoming and worked toward a BFA in art. My art subjects which I lean toward are the western way of life and western situations. My interest in art must have started very early in life. I was a little city girl who moved to a farm. The farm animals were a part of everyday and ranged from the wild to the tame.
